John's Thanks:

What can I say? We were so moved by the turnout for our CD release party and by the enthusiasm you all showed. We were blown away. There were over 200 of you there! There were folks there from all 20 years of our career - musicians with whom we have played and jammed; fans who remembered us from our Taker's Cafe days and our days at the old North Star Bar; folks who saw us at River Blues Festivals; folks from our great gigs at the Turtledove; folks from other local clubs such as Ava Faye's and KC's Alley. WOW! Co-workers who came out to support us; family members; people who heard the sounds in the street and had to come in. 

Thank you all. We love you all and can only offer our thanks and our promise to continue doing what we do-finding new things to bring to old blues favorites, and writing our own new material. And it is your unflagging support which keeps us going. Thank you sooo much!

Audrey S: It was a great time! I didn't realize how long my friends and I have been fans until I came across an old tape I made off of a live WRTI New Year's Eve party at the North Star. In the middle of it, Steve Brown welcomes us to 1990. The 15 yrs. sure have gone quickly. Hope you continue to play for another 15!

Lou K: The pleasure was all ours. The outpouring exhibited on Sunday was well deserved and an indication of the pleasure the Dukes bring to so many.

Ty and Kath of NYC: Drove from NYC to catch you guys at Warmdaddys and I would do it again in a heart beat! Great set! The new album is righteous and raw with it's heart in the right place. Keep it coming Dukes and Duchess.
